Bentonite is a type of clay that has an ability to swell and gel when dispersed in water. This is mainly used in Wine and Spirit washes to help settle all your impurities and yeasts to the bottom. Giving you a cleaner/clearer wine or wash before distilling. Bentonite will not impart any flavour on your wine or Spirit washes.
