MAINTENANCE

Maintenance Of Draught Equipment

Your draught dispencer should be sanitised preferably twice a month, although once a month should be sufficient. I use a modified garden pressure sprayer.
Run the caustic solution (supplied) through your dispencer to avoid build up of bacteria in your beer line. It is quick and easy to do yourself.

Gas

Gas is usually rented from Afrox or any other gas supplier. Usually you have to pay a monthly rental.
Suremix 100 is 100% co2 for lager beers.
Suremix 60 and 40 for ales and stouts is a co2 and nitrogen mix.

Most home users use a co2 fire extinguisher 2kg or 5kg.
The standard regulator will fit both of these options.

The gas is used as a propellant replacing the volume in the keg.
